cold war against global warming

Finally, a voice of reason in the climate debate.
What better weapon against global warming than the current cold war?
No need to change our rabid, out of control consumption patterns. And anyway, the so-called experts tell us consumer confidence is plunging. I never had any confidence to begin with, so I'm taking the plunge into the void.

And the best argument for this is that carbon footprint will be absolutely zero.

mixed-up media

Alot of so-called art in galleries nowadays are categorized under the catch-all 'mixed media'. Judging from the objects on show, it would be more correct to call it 'mixed-up media'. In this way, we don't have to pretend we understand the art as we know it is clearly a reflection of the artist's state of mind.

I was at a vernissage the other day and after a couple of drinks, realized that what actually was going on at the gallery was simply a case of 'art imitating life'. And that if I step outside the gallery, it was the other way around. I think I need another drink.
