did he invent global warming too?

Just a thought since global warming is such a hot topic nowadays - if Al Gore invented the Internet, he must have also invented Global Warming. After all he did claim the former once when he was still a contender. Which makes one wonder whether the ballyhoo over greenhouse gases is just hot air?
